Course content:
A wide array of Pharmacological topics were investigated in years 1 and 2. The final year comprised in-depth modules in Cardiovascular and Renal Pharmacology, Molecular Biology, and a four week experimental group project. My final year project involved a ten week placement in the Department of Paediatrics and Child Health at Leeds General Infirmary, investigating morphine metabolism in relation to its potential regarding the improvement of pain relief treatment in premature neonates in the Intensive Care Unit.

I accepted the role of Sub-warden within University accommodation (Bodington Hall) for the academic year beginning September 1998. I am in overall charge of 79 students; my role being to ensure satisfactory living conditions for the residents with regard to issues such as noise. I have also been co-ordinator and officiator of the sporting activities for the whole site (about 1,200 people). A wide variety of sports have been contested, including football, basketball, volleyball and hockey.
